Donald Trump
The 47th President of the United States, in office since January 20, 2025, and previously the 45th president from 2017 to 2021. A Republican, he led his family's real estate business from 1971 and renamed it the Trump Organization, and hosted the reality television series The Apprentice from 2004 to 2015. He won the presidential elections of 2016 and 2024.

Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is an American politician and businessman serving as the 47th president of the United States. Born in New York City, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in economics.[1]

Trump became president of his family's real estate business in 1971 and renamed it the Trump Organization, expanding into skyscrapers, hotels, casinos and golf courses and licensing the Trump name to outside ventures. From 2004 to 2015 he hosted the reality television series The Apprentice.[1]
Running as a political outsider, Trump won the 2016 presidential election and served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021. During that term he signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, appointed three Supreme Court justices, withdrew the United States from climate and trade agreements and raised tariffs on China.[1]
Trump won the 2024 presidential election and took office again on January 20, 2025 as the 47th president. His second term has been marked by tariffs applied to nearly all trading partners and by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.[1][2][3]
